January 6th.

 

Snow first thing .

Willow Tit along with all the usual on the feeders.  Wigeon x 43 , Teal x 22 , Mallard x 24 and a female Goosander.  Also Raven , Canada Geese 400+ ,  several Siskin around. 36 species found in one hour before the snow came down heavier. 

January 4th

 I have been away over the Christmas and New Year period.  Last year finished on a very competitive 111 species , but that also depends if a discription gets sent in for both the Black-Necked Grebes and the Hen Harrier.
