Looks like we have a over wintering Chiffchaff as it was seen again this morning by the feeding station along with two Willow Tits and all the other regulars at the feeders.

Old Records

Some old records have come to light from Charles Linfoot back from the 1970's , which adds six new species to the overall Rudyard List now taking it to 187. If anybody has any old records of interest please get in touch , iam looking for 1960's , 1970's and 1980's. Species added include .

A couple of nice photos taken this morning by David Collis of a juvenile Sedge Warbler , a bird was heard singing on several of my visits . So this could be proof of breeding this year.

Old Cettis Warbler Record

A very old record has just come to light of a Cetti's Warbler in December 1982 to February 1983 , which is obviously a first and brings the site total upto 181.
