A quick visit this afternoon in between heavy showers just to see if the bad weather had brought anything down . Nothing new was found.

Osprey again this morning with large fish flying north at 8-40.
Also Spotted Flycatcher , two Willow Tit and drake Mandarin by bridge.
A pair of Gadwall at the north end scarce at this site , also a single Willow Tit by the bridge.
Pectoral Sandpiper still present at the north end but distant. Also a single Common Sandpiper , 19 x Snipe , 22 x Lapwing , 5 x Goosander , 9 x Wigeon and 4 x Swallow .
No further sign or information on the reported Garganey record at the lake couple of days ago. Some old records of Garganey have come to light.

Pectoral Sandpiper still present at the north end also , Dunlin, 2x Ringed Plover, Common Sandpiper , 4 x Snipe , Peregrine and 49 Lapwing , Raven and two singing Chiffchaff.
Pectoral Sandpiper still present at the north end along with two Ringed Plovers , three Snipe ,Kingfisher and a singing Chiffchaff.
Pec Sand still present also Dunlin, Red Kite , 17 x Snipe , 40 x Lapwing and Grey Wagtail.
Pectoral Sandpiper present all day feeding on the vegetation at far north end but distant , views between 100 yds / 150 yds.
A nice find late afternoon at the north end by Mark Buxton a juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper.
