Our first Redwing of the Autumn/Winter period with two birds flying south mid morning. A good walk around this morning with 47 species logged.

Nothing new today worth mentioning just 51 Black headed Gulls at north end and still 16 Tufted Duck . No sign at mid day of the Egret . Water levels are down slightly which has now exposed a muddy shoreline at the north end .

September 26th
Great White Egret still at north end also our first Wigeon of the Autumn back with a single female present. Raven over calling and 51 x Lapwing flying around. Tufted Duck numbers have now gone up to sixteen , unusual for the site we usually have single figures of between 5 to 8.
