December 28th

A single Redshank still at North end along with two drake Goosander and good numbers of Teal and Wigeon. Also four Willow Tit in usual place. Yesterday a large flock of around 40 plus Siskin. All images below courtesy of David Collis.

December 24th

Duck numbers have increased slightly with Wigeon x 29 , and Teal x 84. Lapwing x 115 , Goosander x 5 (1 x drake) , Tufted Duck x 10 , Canada Geese x 200+ , Siskin x 6 , Cormorant x 7 , Great Crested Grebe x 8 , Willow Tit x 4 and two Nuthatch.

At the North end , 24 x Wigeon , 70 x Teal , 2 x Redshank , 36 x Brambling , 9 x Siskin , 14 x Lesser Redpoll , 4 x Willow Tit , 78 x Lapwing.

At the North End this morning , 70x Teal , 21x Wigeon, 2x Redshank , 6x Snipe, 40x Brambling , 2x Bullfinch , 4x Willow Tit and 11x Lesser Redpoll . South End 4x Goosander , 6x Cormorant and Kingfisher.

Eight Goosander , eleven Wigeon , thirty nine Teal , four Snipe , three Willow Tit , Kingfisher , Grey Wagtail , seven Siskin , fourteen Lesser Redpoll , five Brambling and a Water Rail.

A single female Goldeneye at dam end in this morning also seven Goosander , Grey Wagtail and Kingfisher.
